Kelly Tang

Kelly Tang is an NHS-trained Clinical Scientist in Audiology with experience across adult, paediatric, and vestibular assessment and rehabilitation. As part of the NHS Scientist Training Programme, she completed her clinical training alongside a Master's degree in Clinical Science at the University of Manchester.

Kelly began her audiology career in 2021. She worked in research after completing her undergraduate degree in Medical Materials Science, and decided to enter the healthcare sector after the COVID-19 pandemic. She has spent five years gaining broad clinical experience with the NHS before joining Hearology.

Kelly's path into audiology was unconventional, as a university alumni presentation and a practical assessment first planted the idea of a career in audiology in her head. As her understanding of hearing deepened, she came to realise that audiology is about far more than clinical diagnostics. It is about the music people love, the laughter of those closest to them, and the everyday moments that keep them connected to the world around them. For Kelly, that is what makes her work such a privilege.
