James Leare
James Leare is a Health and Care Professions Council-registered Clinical Audiologist at Hearology® with over 13 years of experience in adult audiology rehabilitation. After graduating from the University of Southampton in 2012 with a BSc (Hons) in Audiology, James then spent over 12 years working for the Action for Deafness charity. Driven by a desire for greater clinical freedom and the motivation to find truly bespoke solutions for each individual, he has now moved into private audiology with Hearology®. Hearing has always been close to James's heart. Growing up with a family history of hearing loss - including his grandmother, father, and a cousin born profoundly deaf - he developed a deep fascination with the complexity of the auditory system from an early age. This curiosity has never left him, and today he is as energised as ever by it - and by the amazing technological solutions that now exist for treating hearing loss.
