Esti Nothnagel is an HCPC-registered Clinical Audiologist with a degree from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. She brings specialist expertise in adult aural rehabilitation and hearing aid technology.
Esti's career began with a community service year in Mpumalanga following her graduation in 2019, where she gained a broad clinical experience. She went on to work alongside ENT specialists at Union Hospital in Alberton, where she developed her expertise in diagnostic audiology before successfully establishing and managing her own audiology practice in South Africa. Relocating to the UK, she gained further experience as a Clinical Lead Hearing Aid Dispenser with a high street provider before joining Hearology.
Having initially been drawn to speech therapy, it was during her studies that Esti decided to specialise in audiology. She became fascinated by the way hearing underpins so much of daily life. Not just the ability to follow a conversation, but the confidence to join in, to connect, and to feel fully present in the world around you.
