Ellie Bowes

Elspeth (Ellie) Bowes is a Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)-registered Clinical Audiologist with a BSc in Audiology and a Foundation Degree (FdSc) in Hearing Aid Audiology. She has specialist expertise in aural microsuction, diagnostic hearing assessments and hearing technology.

Ellie trained at Anglia Ruskin University while working with Sevenoaks Hearing, before going on to manage a fast-paced central London clinic with Hidden Hearing. These experiences have equipped her to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care across a range of clinical settings. She brings that wealth of experience with her to Hearology, where her focus remains on delivering attentive, personalised care to every client she sees.

Having worn hearing aids in both ears since the age of 15, Ellie understands firsthand the emotional and practical impact of hearing loss - especially at a young age. Ellie's passion for audiology began after she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with Social Psychology. During a routine hearing test at her local audiologists, Ellie was struck by the kindness and encouragement of her Audiologist, who suggested she would suit a career in audiology. She threw herself into further training and qualifications, working her way up to become the Clinical Audiologist she is today. Ellie's own hearing loss gives her a perspective that few clinicians in the profession can match.
