Michael Field is a Director of Hearology and a highly experienced Health and Care Professions Council-registered Audiologist with over 40 years in the field. One of our founding figures, Michael has been a part of Hearology since the very beginning, playing a central role as the business has grown into the clinics we are proud to operate today.
Michael's career began at Siemens Hearing Instruments, from where he went on to work across the globe - including in Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and the USA - before establishing his own private clinics in Cyprus and the UK. This wealth of experience and breadth of knowledge continue to benefit every Hearology client he sees.
It was Michael's father's profound hearing loss - the result of years working in and around army tanks - and his daughter's diagnosis with a mastoid condition that drew Michael away from his original career choice as an Environmental Science teacher and into the audiology profession, where he has been ever since. To this day, Michael says there is no greater satisfaction than seeing a client's eyes light up when they hear sounds they had long forgotten existed.
