Bridget McCubbin is a highly skilled Senior ENT Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of experience in the field, registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Professional Practice in Nursing, an ENB Higher Award, and an ENB certificate in ENT Nursing.
Bridget's career spans an impressive range of ENT settings, including managing an ENT operating theatre, a pre-operative assessment clinic, acute ENT care, and an NHS urgent referral clinic. Since joining Hearology in 2017, she has further expanded her practice to include prescribing for ear infections, and her dedication is particularly evident in her work with paediatric patients.
Bridget's path into nursing was shaped by her experiences of ill-health as a child, spending time in and out of hospital that created a deep impression on her young mind and, after her father suggested a career in nursing, the idea took root. Her arrival in ENT, however, was entirely by accident. Expecting to begin on a surgical ward, she found herself on an ENT ward instead. It turned out to be exactly where she was meant to be, and sparked a passion that has sustained her for over three decades since.
